MEDITATION.

Emily Parzybok is a meditation teacher with training in Buddhist meditation, Internal Family Systems therapy, and a variety of modalities to work with the mind and nervous system. Emily has spent over 250 nights on silent retreat and has studied under numerous teachers. She occasionally guides others in meditation, retreats, and how to build a practice of self-inquiry and quiet. Emily is a graduate of the Dedicated Practitioners Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. She is currently enrolled in a yearlong course on Emptiness through the Barre Center.

Weekly Classes

These (virtual) meetings take place on Zoom. No need to pre-register. Classes are free to join. Please join using this link.

This meeting is for anyone hoping to build a writing or meditation practice. Emily offers a guided meditation for the first 10 minutes of the meeting. Afterwards, we will write together for 45 minutes on mute. At the end of the meeting, we will have time to discuss our work, ask questions and check in with one another. There’s no need to be a working writer or an expert on meditation. This is simply time to rest, reset and write for pleasure together. All are welcome.

Workplace Meditation

Emily offers one-time and recurring meditation classes at various workplaces ranging from tiny non-profits to Pinterest corporate offices. She would love to bring mindfulness teaching to your workplace.

Retreats

A student of mindfulness and meditation practice for many years, Emily hosts meditation silent retreats that include seated and walking meditation; active, yin and restorative yoga; delicious vegetarian food; opportunities for introspection. During this time of social-distancing, Emily is offering online day retreats to keep your practice fresh.
